Planning Engineer

Oversee all the work package preparation and execute actions to ensure maintenance planning readiness before starting/during and completing the maintenance work on the aircraft. Coordinate with CASL departments to maintain a smooth and strong pre-input process for the preparation and standardisation of the work package, including budget preparation and up to the customer briefing. Oversee all maintenance events on allocated projects, lead production control, direct and control the work cards and activities of the maintenance events. Ensure activities are carried out in such a way that the available labour is used in the most efficient manner, review the status of the projects for progress and commercial targets. Control the daily workload in conformity with the target set by the current agreed plan while the aircraft is in‑work to ensure on‑time project completion and profitability. Be chairperson for all pre‑input, customers and wash‑up meetings for the allocated maintenance events and ensure the accomplishment of open actions within the pre‑set downtime. Be the voice of the Planning team and represent the team in all functions, interface and communicate between internal and external stakeholders. Manage Planning Assistants, enabling them to work to CASL standards, distributing the workload, supervising, measuring performance and verifying outputs. Monitor and maintain visible and up‑to‑date performance charts for check preparation and check progress and ensure the work pack is presented for Certificate of Return to Services review and signature. Require shift duties on roster basis. We offer a generous remuneration package to employees. Qualifications and Requirements High Diploma/Degree in Aircraft/Production Engineering or related disciplines. Minimum 5 years’ work experience in aircraft maintenance or at least 3 years in aircraft/production planning. Possess HKAR/CCAR66 License is an advantage. Sound business acumen and strong project management skills. Strong people skills with demonstrated negotiation ability. Proficient in MS Office applications. Fluent spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
