Senior Sourcing/Project Engineer

Base Pay Range Salary range: Negotiable Job Responsibilities Search and develop potential suppliers in Southeast Asia according to Peak's requirements on time. Work with Product Development team both in China and HQ to develop products. Driving project launching and following output to achieve good targets. Follow up new products development processes including technical discussion, raw material testing, samples making, trial order production, quality control and mass production. Cost analysis for existing and new products assigned by Peak, negotiate prices with suppliers. Report and resolve any issues (including potential issues) during supplier development or orders. Collect and analyze information of potential commodity and industry review. Coordinate with other function teams and information communication for the project related jobs. Assist potential suppliers to meet Peak's requirements (product specifications, quality control, production capacity, lead time, service and other issues). Implement factory audit and guarantee that evaluation results are fair. Perform other duties as may be assigned from time to time by Peak's management. Requirements Bachelor's degree and major in mechanical engineering are an asset. Knowledge in reading engineering drawings is required. Demonstrates ability to prioritize, organize, set and meet deadlines, provide status updates, and deliver high-quality results based on the needs of each project. Strong verbal and written communication skills, in both Chinese and English. Quick learner, ability to handle tough conversation, building relationships and handling disagreement. Willing to business travel overseas and domestic.
