IT Security Governance Officer (Contract, Bank) Our client, a large bank is currently looking for an IT Security Governance Officer to join their team. Responsibilities Governance: Assist the IT Security Governance team to strengthen the bank’s IT Security, support rapid Fintech initiatives, establish security standards and guidelines for emerging technology, and support KRI monitoring and reporting. Risk: Review technology deviations, liaise with other IT teams for remediation, participate in third‑party and network connection risk assessments, and assist in independent assessments for critical IT projects. Compliance: Manage remediation actions for audits and regulatory reviews (HKMA, MAS, SWIFT, PCI, etc.), facilitate implementation of HKMA’s Cybersecurity Fortification Initiative (CFI) 2.0 actions, and perform security assurance monitoring and testing to ensure key controls are effective. Qualifications Graduates with a bachelor or master’s degree, preferably in IT/IS management, technology, audit, or information security. Minimum 2 years of experience in IT Security or related security audit. Enthusiastic to pursue a career in IT security, cybersecurity, IT audit, or technology risk. Good understanding of basic technology knowledge and willingness to learn in a dynamic environment. Strong teamwork, self‑motivation, analytical thinking, problem solving, continuous improvement, and time/resource coordination. Excellent communication skills; proficiency in spoken and written English, Chinese, and Mandarin. Our client offers attractive remuneration package to right candidates.
