About the Role We are looking for a sharp and highly operational Strategy & Operations Manager / Lead to partner with the Chief of Staff and VP of Ops. You’ll build scalable systems, drive cross‑functional alignment, and ensure teams stay accountable and customer‑focused as we grow globally. Most importantly, you must bring a true startup mindset: roll up your sleeves, jump in wherever needed, operate with a strong "get things done" mentality, and focus relentlessly on what will move the needle. What You’ll Be Doing Drive strategic initiatives and improve company‑wide operational efficiency alongside the Chief of Staff. Build scalable internal systems, workflows, SOPs, and communication frameworks as IM8 expands globally. Hold teams accountable for key metrics; track performance, surface gaps, and provide structured reporting to leadership. Identify blockers, root causes, and escalation points when projects stall — ensuring issues are resolved quickly. Partner with Ops, CX, Product, Tech, Finance, and Partnerships to ensure seamless cross‑functional delivery. Act as the operational and communication bridge between teams, driving clarity, structure, and alignment. Build dashboards, frameworks, and AI‑enabled tools to improve visibility and accelerate decision‑making. Roll up your sleeves and jump into urgent problems, bottlenecks, or launch‑related tasks when needed. Maintain documentation standards, operational playbooks, and ongoing process improvements. What You Bring Strong commercial mindset — able to assess tradeoffs, understand business impact, and make decisions that balance growth with operational efficiency. Strong risk assessment capability — proactively identify potential issues, downstream impacts, and mitigation paths. Strong customer empathy — you think deeply about how every decision impacts the customer and ensure customer‑first judgment across all operations. 5+ years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, program management, or a cross‑functional leadership role. Must have startup experience — comfortable operating in fast‑changing, high‑growth, high‑ambiguity environments. Strong proficiency in AI tools and workflows (ChatGPT, automation, prompt engineering, AI‑driven operations). Exceptional project management skills; able to manage multiple high‑impact workstreams simultaneously. A get‑things‑done attitude with strong ownership, urgency, and resilience. Ability to think holistically and understand how initiatives impact multiple teams across the organisation. Strong prioritisation and organisational skills — able to identify what moves the needle and focus teams accordingly. Strong critical thinking skills — able to assess data, pressure‑test assumptions, and make sound strategic recommendations. Ability to read and interpret P&L statements and understand financial drivers of the business. Excellent communication skills — clear, organised, and effective across all internal teams. A strong team player — able to collaborate, communicate, and align cross‑functionally with ease. High independence and autonomy — able to take ownership, self‑direct, and move initiatives forward without needing constant guidance. Proven ability to design or improve processes, SOPs, and internal systems. Comfort stepping into ambiguity, rolling up your sleeves, and doing whatever it takes to move projects forward.
