About the job Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong within Food & Beverage Service Division in Hong Kong, the Area Steward - Terrace Boulud is responsible for daily Stewarding operations, ensuring proper handling, washing, and storage of chinaware, glassware, silverware, and other items, as well as maintaining cleanliness in all operation areas. The Area Steward - Terrace Boulud reports to the Stewarding Supervisor - Terrace Boulud. As Area Steward - Terrace Boulud, you will be responsible for the following duties: Ensure that all Food and Beverage back of the house areas are cleaned up to the hotel’s set standards and that there are no infringements of health and safety of fire regulations Perform general dishwashing duties and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen Operate the dishwashing machine properly and safely Ensure that all operating equipment is washed and cleaned in the correct manner Familiarize with the handling and use of all cleaning equipment used in Stewarding Perform any other reasonable duties as required by the department head from time to time As Area Steward - Terrace Boulud, we expect from you: At least 2 years of relevant working experience in similar capacity in hotel Food & Beverage, preferably with pre‑opening experience in a luxury hotel Good command in spoken English, Mandarin and Cantonese Flexible and willing to work shift duties Our commitment to you Learning & Development.
