Client Development Manager – Luxury brand Client Development Manager – Luxury brand Position Overview The Client Development Manager is a strategic partner to the most valued clients. This role is less about transactions and more about the art of cultivating lifelong relationships. You will be responsible for managing and growing your own dedicated portfolio of High‑Net‑Worth (HNW) and Ultra‑High‑Net‑Worth (UHNW) individuals, acting as their sole point of contact within the brand. Your mission is to provide a seamless, highly personalized, and confidential service that anticipates desires and deepens their emotional connection to our world. Key Responsibilities Strategic Client Cultivation & Relationship Management: • Develop and execute a strategic plan to grow a dedicated portfolio of private clients. • Act as the primary, trusted advisor for your clients, providing a white‑glove, omni‑channel service that is available and tailored to their schedule. • Deeply understand each client’s lifestyle, tastes, aspirations, and acquisition goals to provide truly bespoke recommendations. • Proactively anticipate client needs for key moments (birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, etc.) and cultivate wish lists. Commercial Growth & Business Development: • Achieve and exceed ambitious sales targets by building strong, long‑term relationships rather than one‑time sales. • Strategically develop own client base through a combination of inheriting existing clients and proactively sourcing new clients via your network, referrals, and exclusive events. • Masterfully guide clients through high‑value acquisitions, including rare, limited edition, and archival pieces. Client Experience & Personalization: • Orchestrate unforgettable client experiences, from private appointments outside of regular hours to behind‑the‑scenes ateliers visits and exclusive event invitations. • Ensure flawless after‑sales service, including personal delivery, bespoke alterations, and dedicated care services. • Maintain meticulous and discreet client records, managing all interactions with the highest level of confidentiality. Brand Ambassadorship: • Embody the values, heritage, and aesthetic of the brand in every interaction. • Serve as a knowledgeable resource on the brand’s history, craftsmanship, and product universe. • Represent the brand at VIP events, and other high‑society functions to expand its reach and influence. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Luxury Management, or a related field. A minimum of 5‑7 years of experience in a similar role within the luxury retail, fine jewelry, watchmaking, art, or related sector. A proven and verifiable track record of managing a personal client book/portfolio and achieving significant sales targets. An existing network of HNWI contacts and the proven ability to discreetly acquire and develop new client relationships. Impeccable presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with fluency in Mandarin/Cantonese.
