Sales Engineer (Natural Colors and Other Food Ingredients) Jiang Ma Tang Holdings Limited is seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Sales Engineer with strong R&D collaboration capabilities in the food industry. The ideal candidate will serve as a bridge between regional agents, customers and the company’s internal sales team, ensuring customers’ technical needs are accurately understood, analyzed, and transformed into effective solutions. This role requires strong communication, analytical skills, and the ability to lead technical interactions throughout the sales cycle. 2. Key Responsibilities (1) Direct Sales to Corporate Customers Attend food ingredients exhibitions (e.g., FIC) to identify and develop potential customers. Contact target customers to promote products and drive sales. (2) Collaboration with Regional Agents Collaborate closely with regional agents to meet customer needs and ensure smooth order fulfillment. (3) Technical Engagement & Demonstrations Conduct technical discussions and product demonstrations with key customers. Customize solution-oriented proposals tailored to customer objectives. Drive sales closures by effectively communicating the value of R&D-backed solutions. (4) Market & Product Insight Integrate internal R&D outputs with market feedback and industry trends. Conduct competitor and market analyses to identify opportunities for product improvement. Provide strategic recommendations to the R&D team regarding product optimization and development roadmaps. (5) Post-Sales Technical Support Follow up on post-sales technical issues and ensure timely, coordinated responses with the R&D team. Troubleshoot customer challenges and ensure smooth implementation and proper product usage. Maintain high customer satisfaction to support long-term partnerships and repeat business. 3. Requirements (1) Education & Experience Higher Diploma, Associate Degree or above in Chemical Engineering, Food Science, Marketing, or related disciplines; proficiency in English or Spanish (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) is preferred. Candidates with 1–2 years of experience in technical sales, solution development, or R&D-collaborative sales within the food industry are preferred. Must hold a Hong Kong Permanent Identity Card and a Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents (Home Return Permit). Strong technical communication, problem-solving, analytical thinking, and presentation skills. High sensitivity to market trends and customer needs. Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines. Willingness to travel for business engagements.
