Location: Check Lap Kok Nature: Permanent Job Title: Project Manager / Lead Consultant (Airport Systems and Multimedia) Candidates with less experience will be considered for the Lead Consultant position. Responsibilities Oversee the upgrade and revamp of mission‑critical Airport Flight Information Display Systems (FIDS) and related infrastructure. Lead project rollout exercises and ensure a smooth transition into maintenance and support phases. Deliver IT and engineering projects on time, within scope, and within budget, adhering to detailed project plans. Design and implement new system architecture to support major airport expansion plans. Maintain and support system software, middleware, bespoke applications, and network infrastructure. Coordinate with software vendors to enhance FIDS functionality, including managing SIT and UAT testing. Collaborate with end‑users to translate operational and business needs into detailed technical specifications. Provide prompt incident support and conduct root cause analysis for problem resolution, offering troubleshooting for hardware, software, network, and configuration issues. Manage relationships with clients, partners, and third‑party vendors effectively throughout the project lifecycle. Assign tasks to team members, monitor performance, and provide necessary guidance for successful project completion. Ensure projects meet defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) during the maintenance phase. Oversee and support additional multimedia and emerging technology initiatives across high‑scale projects. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Minimum of eight years of relevant IT experience, with a focus on requirements analysis, system deployment, support, and project planning. At least five years of experience in project management or system delivery for ICT or engineering systems is required for the Project Manager role. Proven track record in implementing medium to large‑scale projects, including completion of at least one full project lifecycle. Strong hands‑on technical knowledge in: Linux and Windows administration, middleware and web technologies, database management, virtualization (VM) and server resilience, data networks. Familiarity with infrastructure, messaging, multimedia, content management, and IoT system implementations. Experience in aviation or airport systems (specifically FIDS) is a significant advantage. Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and effectively manage multiple stakeholders. Excellent project management and team leadership skills. Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese. Self‑motivated, highly responsible, and able to perform efficiently under pressure. Additional expertise in application programming, shell scripting, and messaging systems is preferred.
