Director of Curriculum, English (Ref: PS/DOC/ _jdb) The ISF Pre‑School offers a unique bilingual (Putonghua / English) program to young learners from two years and eight months to five years of age. The ethos of Pre‑School is firmly based on ISF's Vision, Mission and Values, and is strongly aligned with the Primary and Secondary learning programs of the Academy. The Director of Curriculum is a key role responsible for supporting the Pre‑School Principal in leading and managing the Pre‑School. This position emphasizes strategy and direction, and is responsible for the development, refinement and implementation of the ISF Pre‑School curriculum across all grade levels as a pedagogical leader. The Director of Curriculum leads curriculum initiatives, ensuring alignment across Pre‑School, Primary and Secondary schools with the values and expectations of ISF. The Director of Curriculum will work collaboratively with the Pre‑School Leadership Team, English Teachers, administrative staff, parents, and the wider community to deliver a high‑quality educational experience for all students. The position may require some evening and weekend commitments for school events and meetings. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Education with a Certificate in Early Childhood Education; Direct experience in curriculum design, development, assessment and revision; Experience in a leadership capacity, such as serving on curriculum committees, mentoring teachers, and taking on other school‑wide administrative initiatives; Deep knowledge of educational theory, instructional design, and best teaching practices; Strong analytical skills to interpret assessment data, monitor student progress, and use results for data‑driven decision‑making in curriculum evaluation and modification; Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively lead, supervise, and collaborate with teachers, principals, superintendents, and the school board; At least 5 years’ experience teaching pre‑school aged children; In being bilingual and can communicate in Cantonese / Putonghua as an advantage; and The ability to develop a clear, long‑term vision for the district’s curriculum and lead complex change management processes for implementation.
