A senior leadership role responsible for developing and overseeing comprehensive digital asset custody solutions that align with SFC expectations and industry best practices. The successful candidate will lead the custodial function, establish governance frameworks, and ensure robust safeguarding of client virtual assets across all operational and technological dimensions. Key Responsibilities Establish and maintain secure custody solutions for digital assets with advanced techniques including multi‑signature wallets and hardware security modules (HSM) Develop and execute a comprehensive wallet management roadmap for hot and cold wallet solutions, maintaining minimum 98% of client virtual assets in cold storage Establish and oversee wallet addresses holding client virtual assets, fully segregated from the organization’s own assets, with documented cold/hot storage transfer procedures Manage cryptographic seeds and private keys with multi‑factor authentication, segregation of duties, comprehensive access logs, and audit trails Establish written governance procedures covering asset holdings reconciliation, transfer mechanisms, hard forks, airdrops, voting rights, and whitelisted deposit/withdrawal protocols Prepare regular reconciliations of client virtual asset positions; elevate discrepancies and irregular transactions to senior management immediately Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) for custody operations; stay abreast of latest blockchain technologies including Layer 1/L2 solutions and cross‑chain capabilities Maintain appropriate insurance and compensation arrangements to cover potential custody losses; ensure ongoing coverage adequacy Ensure integration of adequate blockchain‑based safeguards and controls; collaborate with IT and compliance for holistic security measures Coordinate with compliance and audit on custody compliance reporting, internal audits, and regulatory submissions Requirements Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in digital asset custody, wallet management, or similar roles Direct experience from a VATP environment (mandatory) Bachelor’s degree or above In‑depth knowledge of blockchain technology, cryptocurrency custody methods, and operational readiness Location: Central, Central and Western District, HK #J-18808-Ljbffr
