Assistant Manager, Financial Control (Expense Management & Budgeting) This role is critical in supporting the month‑end analysis of management expenses, including review of staff costs, premises costs, marketing expenses, IT Capex and related expenses, as well as the preparation of annual budgeting and forecast exercise. Key Responsibilities Support the preparation of annual expense budget and regular forecast. Perform expense analysis for management expenses and other financial analysis as assigned by management. Support the management reporting on a monthly or ad‑hoc basis for reporting to Group office or management. Monitor and analyze monthly management expenses, identify variances, and provide actionable insights. Coordinate annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting exercises, including consolidation and validation of departmental inputs. Prepare high‑quality financial reports, dashboards, and commentary for management and executive review. Support financial analysis of business performance, including variance analysis, trend identification, and forward‑looking insights. Identify areas for process improvement via automation, system implementation, and streamlining workflows. Perform any other finance‑related duties and special projects as assigned by management. Qualifications Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or other professional qualifications such as CPA/ACCA. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role. Experience in the insurance industry is an asset. Excellent analytical skills and strong business acumen. Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Self‑starter, hands‑on, detail‑minded, flexible and able to work under pressure. Proficiency in computer skills such as Microsoft Office (MS Excel, Powerpoint, Access and Macro). Experience with Power BI and Anaplan is an asset. Immediately available is preferred.
