Key Responsibilities Perform daily credit and risk checks on orders according to internal policies. Identify potential risks, chargebacks, suspicious transactions, and fraud patterns. Build, refine, and maintain automated fraud detection and risk scoring rules . Monitor account health on PayPal, Stripe, and other global payment gateways . Handle customer disputes, transaction investigations, and chargeback cases efficiently. Develop and maintain internal workflows and documentation for chargeback operations. Compliance Operations Review and enforce compliance with payment card regulations , card scheme rules, and gateway policies. Conduct compliance audits, investigations, and prepare reports for senior management. Perform periodic reviews on existing clients based on risk rating and update customer information accordingly. Create, review, and implement internal compliance policies, SOPs, and Code of Conduct. Translate regulatory and legal requirements into clear, actionable procedures for business teams. Identify compliance risks and collaborate with stakeholders to design appropriate controls and mitigation plans. Work closely with the Customer Support team to resolve disputes, gather user insights, and ensure consistent communication during investigations. Collaborate with the Tech / Engineering team to implement risk tools, improve automated detection rules, and enhance backend processes. Support Operations, Finance, and Product teams on compliance-related matters. Handle ad-hoc tasks or compliance matters assigned by supervisors or management. Requirements Post-secondary education or above in Risk Management, Statistics, Finance, Economics , or a related discipline. Familiarity with credit card systems, merchant payment processes , or PSP operations is an advantage. Experience with PayPal, Stripe, or other worldwide payment gateways (fraud, risk checks, disputes, KYC/KYB) is a strong plus. Prior experience in merchant payment processing, eCommerce, or fintech preferred. Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail. Able to work independently under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fast learner with a proactive attitude. Good command of written and spoken English. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Google Docs, and Google Sheets. Must have the right to work in Hong Kong. Fresh graduates are welcome and will be considered for junior positions. Why Join Us?
