As an Investment Analyst within Wellchamp Capital Limited, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Asset Management team. You will be responsible for conducting in‑depth financial analysis and research to identify potential investment opportunities across our specialized areas. Key Responsibilities Conduct investment research and financial analysis on potential investment opportunities across global equities, private equity, and investment funds. Build, maintain, and update complex financial models and valuation analyses. Analyze financial statements, economic indicators, and market trends to assess performance and risk. Prepare high‑quality research reports, presentations, and investment memoranda for Portfolio Managers and internal stakeholders. Monitor the performance of existing investment portfolios and assist in performance and risk attribution reporting. Support compliance monitoring and due diligence processes related to investment activities. Assist with the month‑end closing process for group companies, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across financial records. Requirements Academic Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Quantitative Finance, Financial Economics, Mathematics, or related discipline. Experience: Fresh university graduate or up to 1 year of relevant experience in a financial institution (e.g., asset management, investment banking). Qualifications: Candidates pursuing CFA, HKICPA, or other professional qualifications are preferred. Skills: Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem‑solving skills are essential. Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling) and financial analysis tools. Personal Attributes: Self‑motivated, meticulous attention to detail, strong work ethic, and a keen interest in financial markets and investments. Language: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese. AI Proficiency: Demonstrated ability and keen interest in leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Generative AI (GenAI) tools to enhance work efficiency and decision‑making. Remuneration and Application HKICPA Practical Experience: The team is supervised by an HKICPA Authorized Supervisor, enabling QP students to accumulate the required practical experience for CPA qualification.
