Responsibilities Serve as HKTDC's leader in customer data management, advocating for advanced data governance and quality management processes. Initiate and drive change projects to optimize data management using cutting-edge analytics, robotics and generative AI, leveraging both internal and external resources. Provide input to strategic direction on data extract, data transformation & data staging, and data querying tools. Provide support for data governance and stewardship to maintain the integrity of the customer database. Establish meaningful KPI targets to align the efforts of overseas offices with current database strategies, focusing on acquiring new prospects for the Council and deepening insights into key existing customers. Prepare the annual budget plan for Database Intelligence Department, as well as monitor / review the budget utilization throughout the fiscal year. Actively share reports and dashboards to ensure smooth database operations, effective data management, and alignment of overseas office performance with KPI targets. Support ongoing databank management and respond to data service requests from user departments. Requirements Bachelor's degree in quantitative disciplines, such as Data Management, Data Science, Information Technology, etc. Minimum of 8 years’ experience in advanced data management roles, such as Data Engineer, Senior Programmer, and/or Software Developer/Engineer. Strong understanding of the customer data lifecycle, including collection, storage, maintenance, usage, and retention. Advanced knowledge of programming languages and cloud platforms, e.g. Python, SQL, AWS cloud, Google cloud and Looker Studio. Expert knowledge of data transformation & wrangling. Expert in data visualization tools. Proactive working attitude with strong analytical mindset, effective team collaboration, and excellent problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of B2B operations / business models is advantageous. Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Mature and capable of handling high-pressure situations effectively. Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin & Cantonese). Work location at Tseung Kwan O Logistics Centre. Remuneration and Benefits Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
