Genetic Counsellor

Company Description Genetic Counselling Asia (GCA) provides genetic counselling, clinician support, training and consulting services. GCA is committed to increase access of genetic counselling and advanced genetic testing in Asia. We collaborate with medical professionals, laboratories and healthcare providers to deliver accurate genetic services to patients and clients. Role Description This is a contract position for a Genetic Counsellor, based in Hong Kong with the flexibility of a hybrid role. The Genetic Counsellor will be responsible to conduct intake and genetic counselling to clients/patients, provide support to medical professionals by recommending appropriate genetic testing, interpreting genetic testing results and conduct training in genetic counselling. The role also include clinical research and publication in the field of genetic counselling and clinical genetics. Qualifications Experience in clinical genetic counselling Proficiency in genetic testing and the ability to interpret genetic results accurately and effectively Knowledgeable in the local healthcare industry as it relates to genetic services, reproductive medicine, rare diseases and advances in human genetic Experience in research, related to genetic counselling, clinical genetics or healthcare services Strong communication and interpersonal skills Local and foreign language skills would be an advantage Master degree in Genetic Counselling and BSc in related field; HGSA, ABGC, EBMG board certification or eligibility is preferred All applications applied through our system will be delivered directly to the advertiser and privacy of personal data of the applicant will be ensured with security. #J-18808-Ljbffr
