Senior Interior Design Manager

Your role will be diverse, challenging and stimulating in driving a luxurious standard of ‘Design Excellence’ across all areas of Macao properties from Hotel, F&B, Gaming, MICE Space, and public community spaces. The successful applicant will support the Directors of Interior Design in the effort to manage the teams of design consultants to deliver outstanding designs for key renovation projects. What You Will Do Support the Sands Design Studio (SDS) team in all activities, coordinate and lead the flow of information between all stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of “Design Excellence” that meets project schedule and budget Review and comment on required design documentation; finishes samples, FFE selections, decorative lighting, artwork and accessories specifications regarding suitability/coherence to the holistic design vision Support the project delivery team in all aspects related to design, to ensure acceptable quality deliverables by the consultants and contractors throughout all stages of the project Contribute to a strong culture of integrity, teamwork, communication, passion, creativity, respect and strong project delivery to support internal stakeholders (DPM, FFE, Procurement, Commercial and Operations), external consultants and vendors Participate in and assist with preparing presentations to corporate LVS Team (SVP Global Internal Design, VP Food & Beverage) on design scheme space planning, layout, elevations, FFE selections to obtain approvals of design milestones Support the SDS Team in the Creation of the Design Narrative/Design Brief for each project that defines the design objective for concise design direction, with visual and descriptive design cues to guide the consultant team to achieve ‘Design Excellence’ expectations Work closely with the appointed consultants during all project stages to ensure practical, effective and durable designs at indicated budgets interfacing with Operations Team as required, to ensure timely incorporation of requirements within the project design Other duties as assigned What We Expect From You Bachelor’s degree or above in Interior Design, Architecture or related fields 7+ years of relevant experience in Hospitality Design, preferably within the luxury sector at major ID/Consultancy firms, Hospitality and/or Development companies Possess good IT knowledge applications including Bluebeam Revu, Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, Sketch-up, InDesign, Microsoft Office and AutoCAD Strong project management and organizational skills, including the ability to handle details through to completion, ensure project objectives are met and projects are successfully delivered on par with ‘Design Excellence’ Ability to work collaboratively with all stakeholders; strong interpersonal skills to relate well with senior management with poise, while being a self-starter Experience and knowledge of all aspects of hospitality interior design including space planning, FF&E, design materials; ID processes, design team structures Knowledgeable about suppliers, manufacturing, construction and design processes.
