AV Technician

About the role As an AV Technician at ATEC EVENTS LIMITED, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for the company's audio‑visual equipment. This full‑time role is based in Tsuen Wan District and will involve setting up, configuring, and troubleshooting a variety of AV systems to ensure seamless event execution. What you'll be doing Assist in the setup, configuration, and testing of AV equipment, including microphones, speakers, projectors, and screens Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during events, ensuring minimal disruption Perform regular maintenance on AV equipment to keep it in optimal working condition Collaborate with event organisers and clients to understand their AV requirements and provide solutions Maintain accurate records of AV equipment usage, maintenance, and repair Provide training and guidance to junior technicians or event staff on the proper use of AV equipment What we're looking for Minimum 2 years of experience as an AV technician or in a similar technical support role Proficient in the setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of a wide range of AV equipment, including audio, video, and lighting systems Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills to quickly identify and resolve technical issues Excellent communication and customer service skills to liaise with clients and event organisers Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment and adapt to changing requirements Certification or training in audio‑visual systems or event technology is highly desirable What we offer At ATEC EVENTS LIMITED, we are committed to providing our employees with a supportive and rewarding work environment.
