Job Description - Project Inspector, Electrical & Mechanical ) Project Inspector, Electrical & Mechanical - ( ) This is a fixed-term contract position of minimum 2 years with possibility of renewal subject to organization need and individual performance. Responsibilities: Supervise daily inspection, workmanship monitoring, testing & commissioning of Baggage Handling System (BHS) project works Carry out budget control and expenditure of project works Liaise with internal and external parties to ensure the works are conducted in safe and efficient manner with minimal impact on daily airport operations Manage work progress and coordinate with maintenance and operation teams to ensure timely delivery and completion of works Review and comment on contractors' submissions, method statement, site management plan and programme etc. Requirements: Higher Diploma or Higher Certificate in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services Engineering or other related disciplines with at least 8 years’ relevant working experience in supervision of electrical or mechanical related engineering works. Degree holder with 6 years’ relevant working experience will also be considered Solid experience in supervision of airport works and/or sizable airport facilities e.g. Baggage Handling System (BHS), Baggage Security Screening System (BSSS) or Material Handling Systems (MHS) under a live operating environment is an advantage Automation system and Programmable Logic Controller Knowledge is an advantage Holder of Certificate of Registration of Electrical Worker of Grade A or above is preferred Result oriented, proactive and able to work independently with strong communication and coordination skills Good interpersonal and communication skills Possess a valid HK driving license (Class 1,2) is preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
