Business Development Manager (Hong Kong) CCX Green Finance International Limited (CCXGFI), a subsidiary of CCX Group, is a third‑party service provider specializing in green and sustainable finance, with a particular focus on green and sustainable development in the Guangdong‑Hong Kong‑Macao Greater Bay Area and international markets. In June 2023, CCXGFI became the first Chinese rating agency recognised by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) as an external reviewer for the Green and Sustainable Finance Grant Scheme (GSF Grant Scheme). Our core services include green and sustainable bond and loan assessment, comprehensive ESG solutions, ESG ratings and data governance, sustainable finance services for financial institutions, carbon asset management, and zero‑carbon industrial park management. Due to business expansion in Hong Kong, we are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager with profound local market knowledge to join our team and contribute to the development of the green finance ecosystem in the Asia‑Pacific region. Responsibilities Lead Market Development and Business Execution Promote services such as Green Loan, ESG solutions, and TCFD climate risk stress testing to financial institutions, large enterprises, and government agencies in Hong Kong and overseas markets (e.g., Southeast Asia, Europe, and the Americas). Conduct in‑depth analysis of local client needs (e.g., financial institutions, listed companies), design tailored service proposals, and lead business negotiations, contract signing, and project implementation. Local Resource Integration and Strategy Formulation Develop business expansion strategies tailored to the Hong Kong market, including target industry screening, client management, and competitive analysis. Establish partnerships with investment banks, accounting firms, and business associations to enhance local brand influence. Performance Goals and Management Achieve annual sales targets (e.g., client acquisition, revenue contribution, market share) and regularly report on business progress and market insights. Collaborate with internal technical teams to ensure solutions comply with Hong Kong regulatory requirements (e.g., HKMA climate risk guidelines, HKEX ESG disclosure rules). Requirements Hong Kong local talent with Permanent Resident ID card; fluency in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin. Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance, economics, environmental management, business, or related fields preferred. 1‑3 years of sales or key account management experience (with proven track record in the Hong Kong market); candidates with strong channel resources and execution capabilities may be considered with less experience. Familiarity with Hong Kong’s sustainable finance policies (e.g., Green Bond Grant Scheme, Climate Action Plan 2.0) and ESG trends (e.g., HKEX new rules, TCFD application). Excellent negotiation skills, structured thinking, and resilience to handle challenging KPIs. Preferred Qualifications Previous sales experience at Big Four accounting firms (e.g., PwC/EY/KPMG/Deloitte), major rating agencies (S&P/Moody’s/Fitch), or green finance service providers (e.g., HKQAA, DNV, SGS). Experience in green loans, ESG ratings, dual‑carbon consulting, asset management, or investment banking project sales. Existing client resources in Hong Kong financial institutions (e.g., banks, insurance, asset management), large, listed companies, or government agencies.
