Caritas-Hong Kong is a Catholic charitable agency which provides multiple social welfare services to needy people of Hong Kong. Assistant Business System Manager Caritas-HK is seeking a proactive, versatile, and forward‑thinking Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a highly motivated self‑starter who thrives in a hands‑on environment and is passionate about driving operational excellence and impactful change through data‑informed decision‑making. Responsibilities Assist AC in overseeing the team’s activities and ensuring effective maintenance and daily operation of financial systems; Assist AC in developing, reviewing and maintaining user guides, SOPs, training materials and system documentation; Monitor vendor performance to ensure reliable system performance, promptly identify and resolve issues, and implement necessary enhancements; Engage with stakeholders across the Agency to identify opportunities for process improvement, translate them into clear system requirements, deliver technical support, and ensure operational needs are effectively addressed in a timely manner; Ensure compliance with established Agency Policies and Procedures, including but not limited to Financial Management Policies and Procedures, Procurement Policies and Procedures, Disaster Recovery Plan and other statutory requirements; Proactively drive the improvement of financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency, strengthen compliance, and support the organization’s strategic evolution, while cultivating financial and system capabilities that foster fiscal excellence and digital innovation for the Agency; Undertake other duties as assigned by the AC. Requirements University graduates in Business or Accounting related disciplines with 7 years of relevant work experience and proven experience in leading end‑to‑end system implementation and support for the organization; Solid experience in system development life cycles and good knowledge of financial accounting and management reporting tools; Knowledge of SQL, VBA, APIs, and data analysis tools is preferred; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese; Strong business acumen, excellent problem‑solving skills, good sense of urgency, independent but able to work with people of different levels and teams; self‑motivated, detail‑oriented and deadline‑driven, and innovative; Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and major ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle, preferably Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne is a plus; Possess a can‑do spirit with a willingness to engage in hands‑on work to achieve objectives and a passion to work for a charitable organization. Work Location Caine Road, Mid-Levels Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
