Our website: Overview The Head of Product is the architect of our product ecosystem—ensuring our range is design-driven, competitive, manufacturable, and aligned with market needs. This role sits at the intersection of design, engineering, and supply, and transforms product management from reactive to strategic. You will define how our product range evolves, how suppliers execute design intent, and how our clients experience innovation and quality. Responsibilities Define and execute the global product strategy and roadmap aligned with business objectives. Drive product lifecycle management, from concept to end-of-life. Curate and evolve the standard and configurable product ranges to balance speed, quality, and margin. Collaborate with lighting designers to co-build the product range, merging design vision with technical feasibility. Build and maintain complete product documentation (specifications, drawings, technical data, and pricing). Partner with Customer Service to deliver product information, sales tools, and technical support. Lead supplier onboarding and qualification in collaboration with the Supply team: sourcing, technical capability assessment, and product validation. Work directly with suppliers to translate design intent into manufacturable, cost-effective solutions. Oversee QC processes together with project engineers—defining product quality criteria, inspection protocols, and validation methods. Monitor market and competitor trends to anticipate opportunities and guide future developments. Qualifications 7–10 years of experience in product management, ideally in lighting or electronics. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, design-for-manufacturability (DFM), and supplier qualification. Ability to perform value engineering, cost negotiation and cost control. Proven ability to connect design, engineering, and commercial priorities into actionable product strategy. Solid grasp of product management methodologies (e.g. stage-gate, agile product lifecycle, or lean product development). Excellent project management and documentation discipline. Strong design sensibility and ability to evaluate and improve product concepts. Fluent in English and Mandarin. Experience leveraging AI for product management and prototyping. Requirements/Skills Experience in product management within lighting or electronics contexts. Strong cross-functional collaboration across design, engineering, and commercial teams.
