Vice President, Global Client Sales Department, Global Markets Division for Asia Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG), one of the world’s leading financial groups, invites applications for the role of Vice President – Global Client Sales Department, Global Markets Division for Asia. The position is based in Hong Kong and is part of MUFG’s Global Markets Sales team. What you'll do Strengthen the sales business by achieving assigned revenue targets and other non‑financial KPIs under the One Global Markets framework, ensuring all objectives are met through teamwork and shared goals. Prepare engaging marketing materials and create trade ideas tailored to clients’ needs, demonstrating sensitivity to individual requirements and fostering long‑term relationships. Maintain and expand the client base by conducting deep dives into client portfolios, identifying new opportunities for connection and growth through considerate analysis. Monitor market windows closely and provide timely support on indications, ensuring clients receive reliable information when they need it most. Execute trades with precision and care, upholding high standards of accuracy while nurturing trust with clients throughout every transaction. Perform ad‑hoc tasks assigned by managers or teammates with enthusiasm, demonstrating flexibility and willingness to support communal goals. Collaborate effectively with other Product Offices and Coverage teams across all regions, promoting inter‑dependence and shared success. Fully comply with relevant internal policy and authorities regulations. What you bring At least three years of experience in Banking or Global Markets roles where you have demonstrated reliability in meeting targets within collaborative teams. Existing relationships with Financial Institution clients are considered advantageous. A university degree or higher qualification which showcases your commitment to personal growth and learning within the industry. Professional knowledge of FICC (Fixed Income, Currencies & Commodities), FX (Foreign Exchange) & Rates Derivative products is essential for understanding client needs. Proficiency in MS Office applications to prepare detailed reports and presentations that support team communication. Experience using Bloomberg (BBG) or RM systems for efficient access to market data. Excellent interpersonal skills allow you to connect with clients empathetically while working harmoniously within diverse teams. Strong organisational abilities ensure you can manage multiple workflows simultaneously without compromising quality or compliance. A supportive attitude towards colleagues fosters an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued for their contributions.
