Working hours: 45.5 hours per week, 5 days work week on shift basis About Our Client The Hong Kong Jockey Club's Catering Department manages one of the largest and most diverse catering operations in Hong Kong. They provide a wide range of catering, sports and recreation facilities for Members and their guests across three Clubhouses, along with numerous catering facilities at both Happy Valley and Sha Tin Racecourses used by Members, non-members and corporate organizations for various functions. What you'll be doing? Service Excellence Management: Take responsibility for smooth and efficient service flow in the high‑end Chinese restaurant (Oi Suen) while ensuring effective service procedures and seamless dining experiences for Members and guests. Member Relations & Feedback: Handle menu proposals requested by Members and gather feedback from Members and guests to continuously improve service quality. Team Leadership & Training: Lead restaurant setup and clean‑up operations while training new staff members using established buddy system guidelines to maintain consistent service standards. Quality Assurance & Maintenance: Maintain high‑quality service standards and oversee the maintenance of all operating equipment to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction. Restaurant Operations: Oversee restaurant setup and decoration work while maintaining high standards of hygiene and quality throughout all dining areas and service operations. Who are they looking for? Professional Experience: 5 years of related restaurant experience, preferably in hotels and clubs with Chinese restaurant experience, demonstrating understanding of high‑end hospitality service standards. Communication Skills: Good communication skills in English, Cantonese, and conversational Mandarin to effectively interact with diverse Members and international guests. Service Excellence: Proven ability to maintain high‑quality service standards and achieve exceptional customer satisfaction in upscale dining establishments.
