Business Analyst – Hang Seng Bank Hang Seng Bank seeks an experienced Business Analyst to join our Retail Banking & Wealth Transformation & Business Architect Team. Principal Responsibilities Provide internal consultancy services on project and systems implementation, workflow design, and process re‑engineering across Retail Banking & Wealth business areas. Investigate operational issues, problems and new opportunities; propose high‑level solution options with feasibility analysis. Build end‑to‑end business models and process maps of products and services to assess how different scenarios impact existing business states. Support the business owner in prioritising product backlog by providing insight based on investigations and analysis. Assist the project team in defining clear acceptance criteria for solutions to ensure new business and services meet user needs and organisational goals. Stay abreast of the latest technology and best practices in the banking industry and deliver efficient, cost‑effective process improvements. Foster a highly engaged team to deliver quality outputs that exceed user expectations. Requirements University graduate in related disciplines or equivalent qualifications. Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in project management/business analysis. Knowledge of retail banking, particularly unsecured loan products, preferred. Familiarity with business analytical tools such as data models, process flow construction, and customer journey mapping. Agile methodology knowledge is an advantage. Proactive, innovative mindset with strong communication and analytical skills. Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese. Ability to adopt a growth mindset and identify and drive change opportunities. Strong sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure effective front‑to‑back processes and excellent customer experience. Professional qualifications (e.g. Enhanced Competency Framework, Certified Banker) are a plus.
