EHS Engineer

We are seeking an experienced EHS Engineer with a strong background in Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) to take full responsibility for safety management across our laboratory and packaging facility. This role ensures that our R&D Center operates in full compliance with EHS regulations and standards. What you'll be doing Environment Management Establish hazardous waste management systems (e.g., waste solvents, waste acids) to ensure compliant disposal. Monitor wastewater, exhaust emissions, and noise levels to meet regulatory standards. Maintain an EHS regulatory database and drive continuous improvement of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systems. Health Management Develop employee health assurance systems, including occupational disease prevention and regular medical check‑ups. Identify and control workplace hazards (chemicals, dust, noise) and oversee PPE allocation and usage. Safety Management Conduct hazard identification and risk assessments using methods such as JHA and HAZOP. Perform safety inspections, track corrective actions, organize emergency drills, and lead incident investigations. Deliver EHS training programs to enhance safety awareness across all staff. Supervise fire safety, special equipment, and high‑risk operations (hot work, confined space work). System & Culture Development Ensure all employees, contractors, and visitors receive EHS induction training; special operations staff must be certified. Develop emergency response plans for fire, chemical spills, injuries, and power outages, with regular drills. Implement EHS evaluations for any process, equipment, chemical, or personnel changes. Manage contractor EHS performance to ensure compliance with site requirements.
