Resident Quantity Surveyors (SRQS / RQS / ARQS) - Lok Ma Chau Loop Rider Levett Bucknall Limited (RLB) is a leading global consultancy specializing in construction cost management and quantity surveying and has a global presence with 4,500 people operating from more than 120 offices across the world. In North Asia region, RLB has its headquarters in Hong Kong with branch offices in Mainland China, Macau and South Korea. We are seeking experienced resident Quantity Surveyors (QS) of various levels to join our team on an exciting building project at the Lok Ma Chau Loop. Senior Resident Quantity Surveyor (SRQS) Resident Quantity Surveyor (RQS) Assistant Resident Quantity Surveyor (ARQS) Responsibilities: In collaboration with the project team in head office, all resident QSs shall carry out general consultant QS duties including valuation of variations, interim payment valuation, cost estimates, measurement of quantities, reviewing contractors’ quotations and claims, negotiation and settlement of final accounts, etc. Liaise with contractors, sub-contractors, the project management team, design team and related parties. Attend meetings with various stakeholders of the Project. Collaborate and maintain amicable working relationships with the Clients, the project management team, design team and other stakeholders of the Project. All resident QSs shall perform duties on the Site with minimum supervision. Qualifications: Senior Resident Quantity Surveyor - MHKIS, MRICS or equivalent qualification with min. 5 to 7 years post qualification experience Resident Quantity Surveyor - MHKIS, MRICS or equivalent qualification Assistant Resident Quantity Surveyor - Bachelor degree holder in QS or related disciplines, and minimum 3 years of post‑qualification experience in Quantity Surveying Other requirements include: Working experience in building services preferred. Ability to coordinate efforts and work independently. Good command of spoken and written English. Good inter‑personal and communication skills. Candidates with experience working in QS Consultants are preferred. Employment will be offered on a contract basis for an initial term of twenty‑four months, with the possibility of extension according to the actual circumstances. The remuneration package shall be commensurate with qualifications and experience of successful candidates.
