Lead Platform Engineer

We are excited to be partnering with a leading fintech platform in Asia that empowers millions of users to make better financial decisions through technology and data. As part of their continued growth, they’re seeking a skilled Lead Platform Engineer to strengthen their cloud infrastructure team and drive the delivery of high-performing, secure, and scalable systems across their platform. What You’ll Do Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and coaching. Write, review, and optimise production-grade code in React, Node.js, and Docker (70% hands‑on). Design and implement scalable system architectures and efficient API integrations. Collaborate with Product, Design, and Business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions. Manage sprints, prioritize workloads, and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables. What You’ll Bring 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with solid leadership in full-stack development. Expert-level knowledge of TypeScript, Node.js, React, and Next.js. Strong background in microservices, GraphQL APIs, and database design (SQL & NoSQL). Hands‑on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar). Deep understanding of web security, cloud-native architectures, and system performance optimisation.
