Trading Strategist

You will report to the Senior Trading Strategist and work closely with the Product Specialist and the Business Development teams. Key Responsibilities Keep abreast of the latest news of global capital markets, macroeconomy and government policies; Ability to deduce from the complex market dynamics and derive appropriate structured product solutions/recommendations for clients; Conduct presentations and trainings for clients via face-to-face meetings or social media to enhance their knowledge of the market and strategies; Assist in writing high-quality content on market commentary and in-house market insight, and to support product marketing initiatives when necessary; Proactively address product quotation, trade execution, and post-trade product-related inquiries; Accurate and prompt execution of client orders in a fast-moving market environment; Perform various post-trade activities, such as trade booking and life cycle management tasks; Exert efforts to increase structured products trading volume; Support business development and/or management on client relationship building when required; Strictly adhere to internal policy procedures and relevant regulations; Perform ad-hoc duties and tasks assigned by management. Requirements Degree holder with at least 3 years of work experience in the financial industry, preferably as a market strategist/derivatives strategist/investment strategist/equity specialist/fixed income specialist from a private bank or wealth management institution. Candidates with less experience might be considered for the post of Assistant Trading Strategist. Knowledge about equity-linked structured products is an advantage. Client-centric, self-starter, attention to detail, quick-witted, and able to meet tight deadlines; Commitment to a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and results-oriented culture; Strong communication skills in written and oral English and Mandarin, Cantonese is a plus; Good team player as well as able to work efficiently independently.
