We are seeking a skilled IT Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders to analyze processes, gather requirements, and recommend IT-driven improvements that enhance efficiency, support strategic goals, and drive organizational success. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with a blend of business acumen and technical knowledge, capable of translating complex requirements into actionable solutions. Key Responsibilities Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements through interviews, workshops, surveys, and process modeling. Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure alignment on project objectives. Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications, including user stories, use cases, and process flows. Evaluate existing IT systems and processes to identify areas for improvement, cost savings, or innovation. Conduct gap analysis, feasibility studies, and cost-benefit analyses for proposed solutions. Support the design, development, testing, and implementation of IT solutions, including user acceptance testing (UAT). Facilitate change management by providing training, documentation, and ongoing support to end-users. Monitor project progress, manage risks, and report on outcomes to stakeholders. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend proactive enhancements. Qualifications and Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science. 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in an IT-focused environment. Proven experience with requirements gathering, process modelling, and software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall). Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, SQL, or data analysis software. Skills and Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for presenting ideas to technical and non-technical audiences. Proficiency in data analysis, modelling, and reporting. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Interpersonal skills to build relationships and facilitate consensus among diverse stakeholders. Knowledge of project management principles and risk assessment.
