Job Description: Position Overview We are looking for a talented individual based in Hong Kong who has a strong passion for DevOps and is dedicated to achieving results. Candidates with more extensive experience may be considered for the Senior DevOps Engineer role. Responsibilities Play a key role in managing multiple systems maintained by the team, including technology evaluation, collaboration with developers, building solutions alongside the DevOps team and trading system developers, and overseeing migrations. Automate developer tools and workflows, including the deployment of trading scripts. Develop real-time monitoring solutions to improve the efficiency of IT teams across the organization. Design and optimize data pipelines to provide real-time and historical data to Quant and Trading teams. Offer technical leadership and mentor junior team members. Engage in continuous improvement practices, including providing and receiving constructive feedback. Make a meaningful impact on how technology is delivered and managed within the organization. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field. Over 5 years of experience in DevOps, Systems Engineering, or a comparable role. Demonstrated ability to drive organizational change and coordinate efforts across teams. Proficient in development languages such as Python, Golang, and shell scripting, with an emphasis on automation and standards-based solutions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Experience in mentoring or managing teams. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Hands-on experience with:Linux systems and managing software on Linux. Containerization and orchestration technologies, including runtime platforms. Monitoring systems for performance and reliability. Relational databases and data storage solutions. Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) systems.
