Further information about Lingnan University is available at Applications are now invited for the following post: Director of Research and Knowledge Transfer Office of Research and Knowledge Transfer (Post Ref.: 25/258) Responsibilities Formulate and implement research and knowledge transfer strategies aligned with the University's vision Advise senior management on research policy and strategic initiatives Oversee internal and external research funding applications and administration Facilitate contract negotiation and agreement management with research collaborators Promote commercialization of research outputs and industry partnerships Lead initiatives to enhance societal impact through technology and policy innovation Provide strategic support for the Shenzhen Research Institute and other regional bases Represent the University in international research networks and forums Manage ORKT’s budget, resources, and staff development Ensure efficient operations and compliance with regulations and policies Provide secretarial support to the Research Committee and other internal bodies and prepare reports and data for internal and external stakeholders Requirements A good university degree, with at least 15 years' relevant working experience in the higher education sector Proven leadership in research strategy, grant management, and knowledge transferSolid experience in corporate report writing and compiling statistical reports Strong communication skills in English and Chinese (including Putonghua) Strong analytical and organisational skills Travelling and site visits may be occasionally required Salary and Fringe Benefits The rank and commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
