The Information Risk Management Senior Specialist (Security Consultant) plays a key regional role supporting IT audit, regulatory compliance, and IT risk management activities across multiple Asian markets. The role acts as the central coordinator between IT, audit teams, and external regulators, ensuring IT controls are effective and all audit/regulatory requirements are met. This is a regional position covering Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, and the Philippines , with regular communication with global teams based in North America. Top Responsibilities 1. IT Audit & Regulatory Support (Primary Responsibility) Coordinate and manage internal, external, and regulatory audit requests . Review and validate audit evidence to ensure compliance with requirements. Support IT teams in responding to findings, tracking remediation, and verifying closure. Handle SFC, MAS, and regional regulatory inquiries by collecting and submitting required information. 2. IT Risk, Control Testing & RCSA Perform and support RCSA (Risk Control Self-Assessment) activities. Conduct IT control testing, evaluate process effectiveness, and identify gaps. Collaborate with IT teams to review issues, assess risks, and define corrective action plans. Ensure adherence to global IT risk & control frameworks and governance standards. 3. Regional & Global Stakeholder Management Serve as the middle person between IT teams and audit/regulatory bodies . Work with regional teams across Asia and global leads based in North America. Participate in weekly global calls and contribute to risk/control initiatives. Liaise with project managers and provide guidance to ensure audit readiness. Communicate and coordinate across culturally diverse, cross-functional teams. Top 3 Mandatory Requirements (Must-Haves) 1. Strong IT Audit Experience (Minimum 5 Years) Solid background in IT audit, ITGC testing, and audit evidence management. Strong understanding of IT processes, controls, and audit methodologies. 2. Experience Handling Asian Regulatory Requirements Familiarity with Hong Kong SFC , Singapore MAS , and other Asian regulators. Experience preparing regulatory responses and managing compliance activities. 3. Strong Technical & IT Risk Knowledge Good understanding of IT processes, IT governance, infrastructure, and IT risks. Able to support RCSA, IT control testing, and work closely with IT stakeholders. Preferred Background IT Auditor IT Manager Security / IT Risk Consultant Additional Responsibilities Act as coordinator for Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and disaster recovery processes. Support SOX, KRA, OSFI, and other global audit programs. Maintain audit documentation, records management, and compliance tracking systems. Identify IT risk issues proactively and drive mitigation actions with stakeholders. Educate IT teams on audit, compliance, and risk management requirements. Ensure alignment with Global Information Security and Risk Management standards.
