Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Private Tutor. The Private Tutor will be responsible for planning and conducting tailored one‑on‑one instruction sessions to meet students' unique learning needs (focused on international curricula and elite university preparation), providing support with advanced school assignments and exam practice, and creating detailed progress reports for evaluation. Additional responsibilities include organizing high‑quality curriculum‑aligned educational materials, fostering a rigorous yet positive learning environment, and maintaining strong professional communication with students and guardians to ensure academic goals (e.g., curricula excellence, university admission) are met. Qualifications Expertise in delivering subject‑specific knowledge and academic instruction in international curricula (IB, A‑Level, AP, IGCSE) or elite test preparation (SAT, ACT, IELTS)—with proficiency in core disciplines such as math, science, humanities, or English. Proficiency in creating customized lesson plans and utilizing premium educational resources (digital tools, international curriculum materials) effectively for remote instruction. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students (K‑12 to pre‑university) and discerning guardians professionally, both verbally (remote sessions) and in writing (progress reports). Ability to adapt teaching methods to fit diverse learning styles, educational levels, and the unique goals of high‑net‑worth families. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for progress monitoring and professional report writing. Bachelor’s degree from a QS World University Rankings Top 200 institution (non‑negotiable) in Education, relevant subject areas, or related fields; Master’s degree is highly preferred. Prior teaching or tutoring experience, preferably in one‑on‑one and remote settings, with a track record in international curricula or elite university preparation. Access to reliable technology and high‑speed internet for seamless remote teaching.
