Add expected salary to your profile for insights Our client, a reputable MNC in fashion and retail industry, is seeking a a talented IT Officer or Senior IT Officer to join their IT Team. In this full-time role, you will play a key part in providing technical support and maintaining the smooth operation of IT systems and infrastructure. What you'll be doing Report directly to the IT Manager and assist in overseeing infrastructure support and solutions. Respond to and resolve technical issues and inquiries from internal users in a timely and efficient manner Configure systems and integrate networks to optimize performance. Provide on-site and remote daily BAU operational support and system administration, including servers, networks, firewalls, and security appliances. Handle performance tuning, capacity planning, troubleshooting hardware and software problems, and root cause analysis. Collaborate with the IT team to plan, coordinate, and execute IT infrastructure projects effectively. Manage data backup, disaster recovery, security measures, and business continuity planning. Propose and implement infrastructure solutions aligned with the company’s vision. Deploy and administer Windows servers and core systems infrastructure across physical hardware and virtual environments. Contribute to the development and maintain operational procedures and comprehensive systems documentation. Uphold confidentiality of sensitive information while adhering to company security policies. Train and guide users on on the effective use of IT systems and applications, with updated policies, procedures, and best practices, fostering knowledge-sharing. Provide technical support for audio-visual and video conferencing events. Be available for off-hours emergency or on-call support as needed. What we’re looking for Higher Diploma and above academic qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline. 5+ years solid working experience in a well-rounded production operations and brands background, preferably in the apparel and retail industry. 3+ years of solid technical support and administration experience across core Windows infrastructure, including Active Directory, 365, Azure, Exchange Server, WSUS, certificate services, DNS, DHCP and various network/service oriented protocols as well as virtualization platform, i.e. ESXi or MS Hyper‑V Experience in shell scripting in languages such as PowerShell and configuration management (e.g. SCCM). Excellent understanding of server hardware and sizing cross‑platform integrations Familiarity with configuring server operating system security and data protection protocols Possess exposure in cloud platform (e.g. AWS)background is desirable Certification holders of Microsoft Windows Servers, Cisco, AWS, ITIL are considered an asset. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, organized and strong attention to details. Good working attitude, highly self‑motivated, adaptable and maintain professionalism, ability to work independently and work collaboratively across teams to deliver results and conflict resolution. Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels. The ability to communicate technical information effectively to non‑technical users Good command of written and spoken Cantonese, English andMandarin.
