Position & Company Position: Leasing Manager / Senior Leasing Manager - Retail About the company. We are partnering with a leading developer with a massive portfolio in Hong Kong. They are seeking a Leasing Manager/Senior Leasing Manager to play a crucial role in securing and managing tenancies for portfolios of high‑traffic retail spaces, ensuring a vibrant and profitable tenant mix. About the Job You will be responsible for the full spectrum of retail leasing activities, from market research and tenant sourcing to negotiation and lease documentation. The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of retail trends, strong negotiation skills, and a proven track record of maximizing occupancy and rental income. Responsibilities Formulate and implement comprehensive retail leasing strategies to achieve high occupancy rates and optimal tenant mix for assigned properties. Proactively source potential tenants (local and international brands), conduct viewings, and lead complex lease negotiations (terms, rent, and fitting‑out periods) to secure favorable deals. Conduct regular market research and competitive analysis on rental rates, market trends, and tenant movements to provide strategic insights for pricing and positioning. Prepare, review, and finalize all leasing documents, including Offers to Lease and Tenancy Agreements, ensuring strict compliance with legal requirements and company policies. Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with prospective tenants, existing retailers, and external leasing agents. Collaborate closely with the Marketing and Property Management teams to ensure smooth tenant fit‑outs and ongoing operations. Ad‑hoc tasks assigned by department head. Skills & Experiences Required Minimum 6-7 years of relevant experience in retail leasing. Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Surveying, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Proven track record in closing deals for retail malls or high‑street commercial spaces. In‑depth knowledge of the local retail market, industry trends, and lease legal documentation. Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. Candidate with senior experience will be considered Senior Leasing Manager.
