Assistant Operations Manager / Operations Officer – HuaAn Asset Management (Hong Kong) Limited, Wan Chai District, HK Responsibilities Fund Operations: Oversee daily fund operations including Public Funds, Cayman Funds, SMAs. Manage the opening and maintenance of accounts with local and global custodians. NAV & Performance Oversight: Monitor and evaluate the performance (NAV) with FA or Custodian. Oversee the accounting, reporting, and NAV preparation processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Trade & Cash Settlement: Monitor the settlement status of cash activities, perform daily cash reconciliations, and oversee trade reconciliations. Stakeholder Management: Act as a primary contact and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including custodians, trustees, fund administrators, prime brokers, IT vendors, legal counsel, and auditors. Investor Services: Manage investor lifecycle processes such as subscriptions, redemptions, and transfers, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency. Reporting: Produce and deliver accurate managerial reports, including portfolio performance reports, key control metrics, and regulatory/compliance reporting for senior management. Product & Project Support: Provide operational support to the product team for reporting materials. Assist in the implementation of new funds, process improvement initiatives, and ad‑hoc projects. System Enhancement: Participate in and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new system enhancements and upgrades prior to production rollout. Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior operations staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline. Minimum of 3‑4 years of relevant experience in asset management operations, bank fund administration, or bank custody. Candidates with more experience will be considered for the VP level. Experience with public fund (Bond Fund, ETF, etc.) operations is highly preferred. Strong product knowledge across equities and fixed income; understanding of Public Fund/Cayman Fund accounting is an advantage. Proven experience in fund accounting, NAV preparation, and trade settlement. Proficient in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of VBA, macros, YSS‑tech, Bloomberg AIM, DTCC, Eze OMS or Advent Geneva is a plus. Proactive, self‑motivated, and diligent with a strong sense of ownership. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships. Fluent in both spoken and written English and Mandarin. Cantonese is a strong advantage. #J-18808-Ljbffr
