Assistant Manager - Sports Development & Education (Golf) Assist in overseeing daily golf operations, including bay bookings and equipment rentals. Ensure compliance with Academy policies and safety standards. Lead and mentor a team of golf attendants, instructors, and support staff. Handle scheduling, training, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution to maintain high service levels. Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and enhancing member engagement through personalized interactions. Promote lessons and Academy activities. Plan and execute golf clinics, driving range competitions, corporate events, and social gatherings. Organise and accompany patrons on outings to external golf courses, including logistics, bookings, and on‑site coordination. Coordinate with maintenance teams to monitor driving range conditions, equipment upkeep, and inventory management. Report any issues and recommend improvements for optimal usability. Prepare reports on golf usage, revenue, and performance metrics. Assist in budgeting, procurement, and vendor relations. Utilize management software for reservations and tracking. Work with the Marketing Team on promotional initiatives, such as newsletters, and partnerships with golf brands to attract new patrons and boost participation in driving range activities and outings. Enforce safety protocols, conduct risk assessments, and ensure adherence to environmental and occupational health standards. Perform ad‑hoc tasks as assigned by supervisors. Requirements University degree in Sports Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional golf certifications (e.g., PGA or equivalent) are highly desirable. Minimum 3‑5 years in golf operations or relevant experience in the hospitality industry, recreation clubs or similar establishments. Strong knowledge of golf rules, etiquette, and equipment. Outgoing, self‑motivated, good communication skills and excellent time management skills. Strong project management skills and the ability to work under pressure. Customer‑oriented approach with a passion for sports and outdoor activities. Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
