Responsibilities Conduct regular checks and audits to ensure the company and associated partners comply with Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) and food safety requirements and government ordinances/rules/regulations. Conduct accident investigations and prepare reports. Conduct risk assessments for projects/events and prepare reports. Provide safety advice related to events and vetting of event layout plans to ensure all safety requirements are fulfilled. Conduct inspection to events and prepare non‑compliance report to organizers. Liaise with the Government Departments regarding Health & Safety (H&S) standards and legislations matters. Provide routine and induction safety training to employees and service partners. Provide administrative support to all safety related matters and promote safety awareness within the venue. Perform any ad hoc assignments as required. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety Management, Food Safety & Hygiene Management, or related disciplines. Minimum 2 years' relevant working experience; preferably with MICE industry experience. Well versed in OH&S / FS&H Ordinance and Guidelines. A good team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills, well-organised and able to work independently. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Chinese word processing. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, and Mandarin is a plus. Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Safety Officer. Fresh graduates are also welcome.
