Role Overview The Purchasing Officer will play a pivotal role in optimizing procurement strategies, ensuring cost-effective sourcing of materials and services while maintaining high standards of quality and supply chain efficiency. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this position will oversee supplier selection, negotiate pricing and contracts, and conduct factory assessments to secure reliable partnerships. Beyond cost analysis, the role involves active collaboration with Sales, Merchandising, and Quality Control teams to align procurement plans with business objectives, resolve supplier‑related issues, and support new product development. Additionally, the Purchasing Manager will act as a key coordinator in cross‑functional projects, managing logistics costs, lead times, and risk mitigation to drive operational excellence. Qualifications Diplima/degree Holder of Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field . 4+ years in procurement, sourcing, or purchasing, preferably in Manufacturing of Toy (Hard/Soft/Electronic), Gifts industry. Proven experience in supplier negotiation, cost analysis, and factory audits . Strong costing and pricing analysis skills (materials, logistics, tariffs). Familiarity with supplier qualification processes (audits, compliance checks). Experience working closely with merchandising, sales, and QC teams . Ability to lead supplier meetings and drive cost-saving initiatives . Willingness to travel for supplier visits in China or Other Asian Countries.
