Our website: The Role The Procurement & Supply Manager is the architect of our supplier ecosystem—ensuring it is cost-competitive, reliable, scalable, and tightly aligned with our product strategy. This role combines strategic sourcing, supplier performance management, and operational oversight of logistics. You will own supplier relationships end-to‑end, drive continuous improvement, and ensure the entire supply chain delivers predictable speed and quality. The role includes oversight of procurement and supply teams in Greater China. Strategic Procurement & Supplier Management Lead commercial supplier sourcing and pre‑screening, coordinating onboarding with the Product team for technical capability assessment and validation. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, and supply agreements to secure competitive cost structures. Build and maintain a supplier performance management system (OTIF, quality, cost, responsiveness). Drive supplier development initiatives to improve lead times, flexibility, and product consistency. Collaborate closely with the Head of Product to ensure supplier capabilities align with product vision, manufacturability requirements, and future range development. Ensure suppliers meet technical specifications, documentation standards, and QC requirements defined by the Product team. Operational Purchasing & Execution Oversight Supervise purchasing activities: PO creation, follow‑up, and communication with suppliers. Ensure accurate ERP (Odoo) data across POs, lead times, delivery dates, and supplier records. Guarantee seamless coordination between procurement, product engineering, and customer service. Logistics Supervision Oversee the logistics activities and ensure smooth execution of shipment planning, consolidations, export documentation, and customs processes. Ensure delivery performance (OTIF) and manage escalation when shipment issues arise. Align logistics flows to match customer deadlines, consolidation strategy, and supplier readiness. Quality & Compliance Work with the Product team and engineering resources to ensure QC processes are respected and issues are escalated properly. Support root‑cause analysis on supplier quality failures and follow through on corrective actions. Ensure consistency and compliance in documentation (certifications, testing reports, material data). Implement procurement best practices, negotiation frameworks, and supplier reporting dashboards. Drive process digitalization and structure through Odoo and other tools. Improve lead times, cost predictability, and supply chain visibility. Qualifications 7+ years in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management with suppliers in China. Strong experience in supplier negotiation, development and performance management. Familiarity with supply chain methodologies such as Supplier Scorecarding, Strategic Sourcing Frameworks, or Lean Supply Chain. Exposure to supplier audits, compliance frameworks, and quality management systems. Solid understanding of manufacturing processes. Experience managing procurement and logistics operations simultaneously. Strong analytical and commercial skills, with disciplined process management. Proficient with ERP systems (Odoo is a plus). Fluent in Mandarin and English. Nice to Have - Experience in lighting, electronics, or other high‑mix/low‑volume manufacturing tech categories. #J-18808-Ljbffr
