Job Description Job Title: Finance Manager - Trade Finance Focus Company: Expanding SME Trading Company (Household, Kitchenware & Sundries) Primary Market: Europe Work location: Tsuen Wan About The Company We are a Hong Kong-based trading firm specializing in household items, kitchenware, and sundries, with a strong export presence across European markets. As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a seasoned finance professional to lead our financial operations and enhance our treasury capabilities. This role is instrumental in supporting our expansion with sound financial management and trade finance expertise. Position Overview This senior-level position combines financial leadership with treasury oversight. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in trading environments and a proven ability to manage banking relationships and financing instruments. You will lead a team of three accounting staff and report directly to the business owner. Key Responsibilities Treasury & Trade Finance Monitor daily liquidity and forecast short- and long‑term cash requirements Optimize working capital and cash flow planning Manage trade finance instruments including Letters of Credit (L/C), factoring, term loans, and revolving credit facilities Identify and manage foreign exchange exposures; implement hedging strategies Maintain and strengthen relationships with financial institutions Lead negotiations for credit lines and financing solutions Financial Management & Accounting Supervise and develop a team of three accounting staff Oversee full set of accounts, month‑end and year‑end closing Prepare financial statements, audit schedules, and management reports Manage budgeting, forecasting, and statutory compliance Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies Provide financial insights to support strategic decision‑making Ideal Candidates Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline Minimum 8 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role Solid experience in trading companies is essential Proven expertise in treasury functions including trade finance, cash flow planning, and FX risk management Strong banking liaison skills and familiarity with financing instruments Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel Fluent in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is an advantage Detail‑oriented, analytical, and capable of working independently Terms & Benefits Five‑day work week 14 days annual leave Medical insurance Minimal travel and overtime Supportive work‑life balance culture Empowering work environment with autonomy and trust from top management Application Please attach your CV with salary expected to Do not send download links.
