Corporate Associate | 3-5 PQE | Law Firm | HKG Our client, a prestigious top tierlaw firm with a strong foothold in the region, is seeking a talented Corporate Associate with 3-5 years post-qualification experience to join its dynamic team. The firm is renowned for its market-leading corporate practice, particularly in high-value capital markets transactions, and boasts an impressive roster of blue‑chip clients. This is an exceptional opportunity for a Hong Kong‑qualified solicitor to specialise in big‑ticket IPOs while gaining exposure to a broad range of complex cross‑border transactions including public and private M&A, pre‑IPO investments, listing rules compliance, and private investments in private equity. ABOUT THE ROLE The successful candidate will focus primarily on Hong Kong IPO deals, with a particular emphasis on drafting and reviewing prospectuses, including the Business and Financial Information sections. Working closely with a Legal 500 highly rated partner with a consistent top tier global and US law firm career history who has extensive experience in equity capital markets and corporate finance, the role offers the chance to develop deep technical expertise in listings, compliance, and regulatory matters. Fluency in both Mandarin and English is essential, as the position involves frequent collaboration with clients, regulators, and onshore counsel across Greater China. In addition to IPO work, there will be opportunities to assist on mergers & acquisitions, pre‑investment due diligence, and other corporate advisory matters. ABOUT YOU The ideal candidate will be Hong Kong qualified with 3‑5 years PQE, with a strong academic background, solid training from a reputable law firm (international, PRC, and domestic firms), and a proven track record in capital markets transactions. Exceptional 2 year PQE lawyers could be considered as well. The ability to manage tight deadlines, lead on due diligence exercises, and liaise effectively with multiple stakeholders is crucial.
