Duties Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the TD; to be in charge of and monitor contractors for the on-going maintenance of existing system and server infrastructure of different hardware (blade server, shared disk storage, network devices) and operating system platforms (including Windows, UNIX, Linux, VMware). To monitor and handle operation support at data centers in production and disaster recovery (DR) sites. To liaise with contractors and vendors in deploying change requests, DR drill, preventive maintenance, capacity planning on application system and data centers. To evaluate impact on installation of software patches and updates. To co‑ordinate with application support teams, users, contractors and vendors for proper scheduling of system installation and maintenance works. To provide first‑line and second‑line support in the operation tasks of application system. To oversee and monitor the facilities (e.g., cooling system, fire detection & suppression system, data center monitoring, security, surveillance system, dual power supply & UPS) at data centers. Experience Requirements Yrs of Total Post‑Quali Exp 6.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 1.0 Solid knowledge and good technical skill in Linux/Unix, Windows Server edition 2012 and 2012 R2. Experience on the operations of blade server, shared disk storage and network devices. Good communication and skills, both written and verbal, in Chinese or English. Good coordination skills in handling tasks with team members and other parties. Need to work in various office locations of TD. May require to work in irregular hours. Technical Skills At least 3 years' experience in Datacentre Maintenance (DCM). At least 3 years' experience in Storage Area Network (SAN). At least 3 years' experience in Server Virtualisation Technology (SVT). At least 3 years' experience in Windows Server 2008/2012 (W12). Non‑technical Skills At least 1 year's experience in work with the Government (GOV). At least 1 year's experience in project management (PRM). Education & Experience Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent. At least 6 years' post‑qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
