Mechanical Engineer

Plan, source and procure technical packages to meet project timeline, budget, and required standards during the project. Review safety, technical and other documents prepared by stakeholders, vendors, and contractors to ensure compliance with procedures and cost control principles. Understand, evaluate, and provide technical advice and recommendation for technical packages from Operations and Maintenance perspective. Develop strategy, perform feasibility study, design, integrate, develop and promote new systems or services by applying suitable technologies, standards and applications to meet the Company’s business needs. Interface with Stakeholders during project meetings and other discussions. Set-up proper procedures and precautions to meet the Company’s Health, Safety and Environment rules and requirements. Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor or plant management. Requirements High Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical or equivalent. Experience in the design, construction, testing, commissioning, operation and/or maintenance of industrial/waste treatment facilities/power plant will be preferred. Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office applications. Preference will be given to those with knowledge in Autodesk and system automation. Positive safety attitude and good understanding of relevant statutory safety, health, environmental and quality requirements, engineering standards, codes of practice and procedures. Customer and result-oriented, self-motivated, good team player and able to work under pressure. Self-driven, resourceful and able to work independently. Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese & spoken Cantonese. Willing to work at Site Office during project execution.
