IT Business Analyst - Data Migration - HKD 40,000 - 50,000 We are seeking a highly skilled IT Business Analyst Data Migration to join our dynamic team. This role will be instrumental in driving the successful execution of complex finance data migration projects. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of data migration processes, strong technical skills, and excellent communication abilities. Key Responsibilities: Data Analysis and Mapping: Analyze source and target systems to identify data discrepancies and inconsistencies. Develop detailed data mapping documents to ensure accurate data transformation. Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement ETL processes. Project Management: Manage the end-to-end data migration project lifecycle, including planning, execution, and monitoring. Coordinate with various stakeholders, including technical teams, business analysts, and project managers. Track project progress, identify potential risks, and develop mitigation strategies. SQL Tuning and Optimization: Optimize SQL queries to improve performance and efficiency. Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues. Collaborate with database administrators to ensure database health and integrity. Business Analysis: Elicit and document business requirements in both English and Cantonese. Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with business users to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements. Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels, including technical and non-technical audiences, in both English and Cantonese. Facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations to keep stakeholders informed and engaged. Negotiate timelines and priorities with stakeholders. Required Skills and Experience: Strong SQL skills, including data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning. Experience with data migration tools and techniques. Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Cantonese. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. At least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
