IT Specialist / IT Support Specialist (with School Affairs Support) We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT Specialist (or IT Support Specialist, depending on experience) to provide comprehensive technical support and assist with school administrative operations. This role involves maintaining the school’s IT infrastructure, supporting educational platforms, and enabling seamless technology integration into teaching and learning. It is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about both technology and educational service to contribute to the school's digital transformation. Key Responsibilities IT Infrastructure & Technical Support Maintain and upgrade campus server and network infrastructure. Independently configure and troubleshoot hardware systems including computers, iPads, access control systems, and CCTV. Provide real-time support for digital learning tools, online classes, live-streaming, and virtual meetings. Manage IT procurement, inventory tracking, and maintenance documentation. Platform & System Administration Administer educational platforms such as ManageBac, eClass, Google Suite, Zoom, and other school-related systems. Ensure seamless operation of student records systems and other administrative tools. Offer technical support for school events (e.g., Parents' Day, Open Day, UOI Exhibition). Work closely with academic and administrative departments to optimise digital workflows. Participate in school-wide digitalisation initiatives and provide training to staff as needed. Support technology integration into classroom settings and extracurricular activities. Requirements Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Proven experience in IT support, network administration, or a similar role. Experience with managing Google Workspace for Education or similar platforms. Experience in an educational setting is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, hardware troubleshooting, and audiovisual systems. Proficiency in administering and supporting educational software platforms. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to provide timely technical support. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support non-technical users. Proactive, well-organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks.
