SOC Analyst (1-year Contract - Renewable) We are seeking a skilled SOC Analyst to join our Security Operations Center (SOC) team. The SOC Analyst will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, analyzing, and responding to cybersecurity incidents in real-time. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of security principles, threat intelligence, and incident response procedures to protect our organization from cyber threats. The Job Continuously monitor security events using SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) tools and other security technologies Investigate and analyze security incidents, including malware, phishing, DDoS attacks, and unauthorized access attempts Proactively search for indicators of compromise (IOCs) and potential threats within the network Assist in identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities in systems and applications Review and correlate logs from firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoints, and other security devices to identify anomalies Maintain detailed records of security incidents, including root cause analysis and remediation steps Work closely with IT and cybersecurity teams to implement security measures and improve defenses Ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements; generate reports on security incidents and trends Keep abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats, attack techniques, and industry best practices The Person Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or related disciplines At least 3 years of working experience in IT or cybersecurity role Relevant certificates (e.g. CISSP, CISA, CISM, CEH) are highly desirable Practical knowledge of core security technologies Strong problem-solving skills and quick learner Shift duties/Overnight duties might be required Hutchison Telecommunications (Hong Kong) LimitedTsing Yi, Kwai Tsing District, HK #J-18808-Ljbffr
