Business Risk Specialist – Global Markets Financing Are you a shrewd evaluator of risk? Do you know how to make the right call in challenging situations? Are you looking for a dynamic role requiring a critical mindset which can be applied to a diverse range of scenarios? We’re looking for a Business Risk Specialist to: Support senior risk managers to cover complex clients while honing their own client coverage skills via interacting with clients on all stages of the service life cycle. Assess margin requirements and perform risk analysis on client portfolios. Work in cooperation with F2b functions and relevant stakeholders to deliver optimal risk‑reward outcomes. Participate in projects to enhance not only risk monitoring but also product offering. Help to optimise scarce resources allocation to clients (Balance Sheet, RWA, Capital). Assist in refining risk management measures to enhance the overall control framework. Participate in regional and global risk calls. We are open to applications from career returners. Find out more about our programme on Your Team You’ll be working in the Global Markets Financing (GMF) business in UBSF in Shanghai. GMF works with hedge funds and other asset managers to provide them access to China ETD market via the UBSF platform. We maintain ongoing client contact from a risk management perspective to uphold and expand our wallet share. Your Expertise Interested in risk management and able to multi‑task on different projects/cases. Degree in Finance, Economics or Engineering or related field; or technical study in engineering, math, physics, or accounting. Ideally 3 to 5 years of experience working in a risk role within the finance sector or futures‑related institutions. Strong technical coding skills such as Python, VBA, SQL, R, etc. and/or quantitative modelling experience. Strong communication skills, both oral & written.
