The Technical Manager is accountable for delivery of Technology Evolve, Change Transformation, or delivery of a Technology advancement within a Technology perspective. This Job leads change initiation, design and delivery and accountable for successful delivery of the projects and ensuring benefits realisation. This job may be based in one or more Technology disciplines such as backend, mobile, web, technology development, capacity management or architecture. You will do the following in this job: Influence strategy and shape the development approach across a series of projects or component activities, building stakeholder buy-in around plans, commitments and changes. Accountable for assisting business development with the decomposition of complex business requirements into technical solution that can be delivered by Technical teams via respective deliverables. Accountable for the delivery, governance & reporting to stakeholders. Ensure technology projects align to GT strategies and contribute to / towards achieving strategic aims. Ensuring that all technology practices and associated tools are being adopted and adhered to within the Programme. Oversees the delivery and management of projects cross functional technical teams. Oversees the development and promotion of the technology methodology and project management practices. Works across business and technical team to establish effective controls, procedures and quality assurance processes for the product in line GT Risk and Controls framework. Oversee the reporting of progress, issues, dependencies and risks to committees and make recommendations to influence decision making in order to maintain progress towards delivery and benefits realisation. We are hiring talent like you: Minimum 8 years professional experience with Software Engineering related fields. Strong project management, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to understand Clients' needs and translate them into technical solutions. Ability to motivate a team to deliver exceptional results. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments. Good problem solving skills, analytical thinking and technical aptitude. Would be great if you: Have Solution Architect certifications by AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure. Have Internet security-related certifications. Experience in enterprise solutions such as datadog, Splunk, AppDynamic, etc. Experience in managing Kubernetes cluster or OpenShift.
