FP&A Manager

Greater China In our Greater China consolidation, we have wholly owned subsidiaries and offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. This is the largest segment of the Lockton Asia business with over $60m in revenues and more than 300 associates serving clients’ risks in Property & Casualty, Marine, Reinsurance, Specialty, People Solutions and Professional Executive and Financial. Purpose of the role Reporting to the Regional Head of FP&A, this is a new role created due to the growth of the business and has a focus on developing a robust FP&A function for Greater China. Creating a process for efficient and accurate forecasting. Establishing and developing relationships with senior management, and stakeholders. Helping to develop the skills and experience of our associates. This role is key in creating an efficient support function for the business. Key responsibilities Management and Reporting Prepare and report management accounts to stakeholders each month. Prepare month‑end commentary and variance analysis for the full P&L. Proactive in suggesting improvements in current management information and working with business, IT, other teams, and finance to deliver high‑quality solutions to meet business needs. Production of strategic KPIs which align interests of business towards the group’s strategic vision. Budgeting and Forecasting Management of the overall Greater China budget process, working with country finance managers and for the consolidation of the budget, presenting to the Greater China CFO and CEO. Assist in the production of 5‑year plan on an annual basis. Developing a robust forecast for revenue on a monthly basis and high‑level P&L forecast each quarter. Systems, projects and ad hoc work Actively contributing to strengthening of the Finance team and identifying opportunities to improve processes, controls and analysis. Responding to ad hoc queries from Asia Region and Lockton International. Qualifications / Educational Requirements An internationally recognised accounting qualification 8+ years of relevant work experience Solid experience with management accounts and financial planning and analysis function Can demonstrate strong commercial acumen with ability to draw insights from large data sets and both interpret and communicate these Experience of presentations and reporting at a senior level Experience of working in a high paced deadline driven environment Insurance background experience beneficial Experience of Oracle EPBCS, Oracle SmartView, Power BI or Salesforce advantageous Excellent communication skills, fluent in written and spoken English & Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin preferred) Benefits We offer medical insurance covering spouse and dependent(s), life insurance, critical illness insurance, annual medical checkup, vision care program, flexible benefits, birthday leave, education allowance, and voluntary contributions for MPF Scheme.
